Ses premières notes olfactives seront de Coings et de pêches de vigne. Puis, la bouche fera apparaitre rondeur et puissance accompagné de fruits tendre à chaire ambrés, le tout parfaitement équilibré avec une pointe d'acidité. Ce vin est travaillé pour se garder entre 3 et 6 ans, aucune mauvaise surprise si plus longtemps. Il accompagnera fruits de mer, crustacé, poisson en sauce. Les volailles crémeuses ne lui font pas peur.
