Domaine de Pélican
Information
- Description
- Taking over the management of the vines of this family estate in 2021, Olivier Poussier and Solene Thillaye du Boullay are the 3rd generation of winegrowers at Domaine de Pélican.
After traveling for many years, they returned to their original lands, which they love so much, to promote and pass on their passion for this beautiful territory of the Hérault Valley.
The 20 hectares of vines are managed using organic farming, harvested by hand for the bottle, then vinified and aged on site, in a cellar dating from the beginning of the 20th century.
Each year, new experiences in harmony and respect with nature and biodiversity are set up at the estate: right now, a beautiful flock of Larzac sheep are mowing our rows and laying down natural fertilizer, and this for the next 3 months.
Wine tourism and agrotourism are also very present on the estate.
Every summer, the estate offers many cultural, gastronomic and festive events.
It also hosts seasonal accommodation with a farm campsite and throughout the year, the estate is open to quality accommodation in a large, fully restored Languedoc farmhouse.
