On the hillsides of Siran, near some dry-stone huts and walls, among olive trees, you will discover vineyards with twisted stocks; Syrah, Grenache have all been swept by thunderstorms and tested by draught.
This land of clay and chalk gives us the best grapes, real proofs of authenticity. Divided in plots of land held up by dry-stone walls, the Domaine Ancely is one of the smallest wine growers of La Livinière vintage.
However, Les Vignes Oubliées wine surprisingly combine strength and mildness. Spicy aromas blend in with the smell of red berries and that of the garrigue scrubland to produce elegant wines with an intense finish.
