- Description
- The Domaine is organic and biodynamic for 10+ years, it was taken over by Quentin and Louis Modat following their grandfather’s and father’s step back.
Today their global approach seeks further by synthesizing and developing many practices based on the living in order to better understand and manage their terroir.
Cover crops, biodiversity management, pastoralism, soft pruning, traditional grafting, or plant-based treatment are completing their working methods.
At 400m high, in the end of the Agly valley, our vines benefit from unique conditions in Roussillon
On rare soils of Gneiss and Granit, very old metamorphic rocks, this terroir of great freshness offer us a balance favorable to the production of fine, fresh and elegant wines.
In the cellar, fermentation plot by plot, wild yeasts, whole grapes, soft extraction and long ageing are guiding our terroir mindset.
