LE CLOS DES COMBALS
Information
- Description
- Founded in 2017 by Marie-Noëlle Tournes, Le Clos des Combals is located in Saint-Jean-de-Fos, on the terroirs of the Terrasses du Larzac AOP and Saint-Guilhem-le-Désert IGP.
L’Initiée, L’Appliquée, L’Enracinée, L’Obstinée, L’Héritée… Our vintages embody the values of hard work, perseverance, and the promotion of the terroir. Combined with a feminine touch, they are imbued with the initiatory journey of their winemaker and the transmission of the vineyard from woman to woman.
The 10 hectares of vines are cultivated using organic farming methods, harvested by hand, then vinified and aged separately.
Le Clos des Combals practices mixed cultivation of vines and olive trees. Their complementary and mutually beneficial cycles provide natural fertilizer, shade, and biodiversity.
With 1.5 hectares of olive groves and olive trees scattered throughout our vineyard plots, or nearly 400 trees, the estate produces olives of the traditional Lucques, Picholine, Verdale de l’Hérault and Amellau varieties.
