CLOS DE L' AMANDAIE
Information
- Description
- Since six generations, our 30-hectare estate sits high on the coolest slopes of the appellation, between 250 and 300 meters. Up here, days are sunny, nights are cool, and the vines struggle in poor, stony sandstone soils brushed by the sea breeze, creating perfect conditions for freshness and character.
Our whites carry tension and bright acidity, which allows us to stir the lees very gently. The result is a saline, mineral finish that really sings. The reds are all about energy and fragrance, with those signature menthol and wild garrigue notes that define our style.
We keep sulfite levels very low and release our AOP Grès de Montpellier wines at least five years after harvest. They arrive beautifully evolved, balanced, and ready to drink, which has become quite rare today.
Since we started our adventure, we work only with passionate importers/wholesalers, independent wine merchants & fine dining restaurants.
