- Description
- Milénico is an organic, artisanal and family winery of the DO Ribera del Duero. Our wines are created with the belief that wine is made in the vineyard and that minimal intervention helps to better express the wine´s original, place and vintage.
• The wines are a proud reflection of what Tempranillo Tinto Fino variety can do in a continental climate, at high altitude (750-900 m) and natural low yield vines. A showcase of how ageing (our wines are released in average 3-5 years after harvest) matures an already excellent wine.
• An example of what organic farming and minimal intervention(we use the native yeasts) in the vine and in the winery. Our wines reflect our desire to transform the fruit of the vine into wine in the most natural way possible.
• Our winery combines craftsmanship (since we do so much by hand, harvest is all by hand) with technologies that fully respect the natural processes, so that the wine will be a reflection of its origin.
• Only state-grown fruit, a combination of old vines (50 to 100 years old) with others planted in the 1990´s
• Annual production 25.000 bottles.
