Coujan (château)
Information
- Description
- COUJAN IS… AN HISTORICAL SITE
As can testify the roman mosaic, this place is an historical treasure.
The archives attest that the Priory of Coujan was already producing wine in 966.
The Guy’s family own this vineyard since 1868. Florence is the fifth generation of a winemaker’s family. Her personal touch brings to the domain elegance and finesse.
It was in 2008 that the land began to be cultivated organically. Olive trees, aromatic plants and vines make this estate in one piece a unique place.
The fauna and flora have regained all their diversity, bringing to the wines brand new flavors of terroir.
A TERROIR FULL OF LIFE
An island of fossilized coral, perforated and draining limestone rock, the grapes harvested draw from this terroir all the expression of its richness. The estate's wines benefit from exceptional acidity as well as rare freshness.
