Tasting notes, medals and awards
- Tasting notes
- If you told me this was a Grand Cru wine from a domain in Puligny- Montrachet, then I would complement the producer on marrying concentration and elegance in a manner that feels effortless. What an incredible, creamy-stony texture this Macon masterpiece has, as it rolls over your palate in one great wave! Enormously long and refined finish. From a vineyard planted in 1987 on stony limestone-clay soil. From organically grown grapes. Fermented and matured sur lie for a year in oak casks, then for eight months in stainless steel. Drink or hold.
