Tasting notes, medals and awards
- Tasting notes
- The expressive elderflower and cassis aromas make this great wine stand out in the appellation. Great tension between the wet-stone minerality, the melon fruit and fantastic energy drives this across the concentrated, medium-bodied palate at a brisk clip. Dangerously fresh at the finish. From vines planted between 1955 and 2002 on clay- and iron-rich limestone-clay soil. From organically grown grapes. From organically grown grapes. Fermented and matured sur lie for a year in oak casks, then for eight months in stainless steel. Drink or hold.
