Tasting notes

A suave and sophisticated wine for this appellation, with excellent concentration and a wonderful silkiness on the medium-bodied palate. Intense anise and fennel flavors at the very long, crisp and stony finish. From vines planted in 1956 and 2009 in 10 parcels on stony limestone soil. From organically grown grapes. Fermented and matured for a year in oak casks, then for another seven months in stainless steel. Drink or hold.
