Château WIALA
Information
- Description
- Château Wiala is an organic wine estate located in Tuchan, in the heart of the Haut-Fitou area. The farm includes 10.4 hectares of vineyards planted on distinctive schist, rolled pebbles, and limestone-clay terroirs, as well as 15 hectares of garrigue dedicated to biodiversity and upcoming diversification projects (olive trees, carob, aromatic plants, light grazing, etc.).
Recently installed on the estate, Jérémy and Mélanie are modernizing the property by restructuring the vineyard, upgrading equipment, and developing a winery suited for parcel-based vinifications. Château Wiala produces several characterful cuvées — Rebelle, Harmonie, Imprévisible, Tuchanboul, and the Christmas Muscat Les Trésors de Rose — all expressing the altitude (300–400 m) and authenticity of the terroir.
The installation is supported by a dynamic commercial strategy (cellar door, hospitality, e-commerce, trade events) and an emerging wine-tourism project rooted in a preserved natural environment. The aim is to build a sustainable, family-run, and innovative estate that fully enhances both the vineyards and the surrounding natural heritage.
