Beer that begins in the field
Paradise Beer Factory is a rare brewery
that produces beer exclusively from
naturally grown barley cultivated in our own fields.
Although our fields are organically certified,
we do not use organic fertilizers or compost.
The only thing we bring into our fields is the seed.
The barley grows entirely through
the strength of the soil and the surrounding environment,
and this purity is directly reflected in the beer.
In recent years, we expanded our brewery,
bringing our annual production to approximately 30,000 liters.
Of the increased volume,
we chose to release roughly 15,000 liters
outside Japan first.
This decision was not driven by scale or market strategy,
but by where we felt our approach to natural farming
and fermentation could be most naturally understood.
We believe our beer carries meaning
only when its background and limitations are fully appreciated.
For this reason, we chose to begin
by sharing our beer in places
where such values are already part of the culture.
