- Château Terre Forte – Biodynamic Wines from the Rhône Valley
Located in Rochefort-du-Gard, Château Terre Forte is a family estate run by Pierre and Juliette Jauffret, covering 35 hectares of clay-limestone soils with rolled pebbles. Certified Organic and Biodynamic (Ecocert, Demeter), the estate cultivates its vineyards with full respect for the living soil and the environment.
The vineyard spans the heart of the Côtes du Rhône, Côtes du Rhône Villages, and Signargues appellations, offering a rich diversity of terroirs. It produces red, white, rosé, and orange wines from a varied range of grape varieties: Viognier, Grenache (white and red), Bourboulenc, Picpoul, Syrah, Mourvèdre, and Roussanne.
Natural vinifications and aging in amphorae or stainless-steel tanks preserve the purity of the fruit, the minerality of the soil, and the authentic character of each cuvée.
The estate also offers aged vintages, with exceptional wines that have matured in the cellar, notably the 2015 and 2012 vintages, which reveal complexity, depth, and balance after several years of evolution.
