Domaine de la Luolle
Information
- Description
- Sandrine and Olivier established the Domaine de La Luolle in 2017 in the Burgundy Côte
Chalonnaise region. The La Luolle estate had a winemaking past that lasted until the 1970s, while the
vineyards they took over had been organic for several generations.
The winemakers chose to farm them using Biodynamic practices (Demeter) and have
been certified since 2021. They are, in fact, open to permanent adaptation (Sandrine is
a teacher and Olivier is an engineer).
Today, Domaine de La Luolle spans 9 hectares around Moroges, producing
Burgundy Côte Chalonnaise, Aligoté, and village wines from Givry and Mercurey.
With clay-limestone and clay-silt soils and a semi-continental climate, their range of
wines is recognized for its precision, fruitiness, and drinkability.
