Mentone (Château)
Information
- Description
- Located in Saint-Antonin-du-Var, Château Mentone is one of the oldest wine estates in Provence, founded in 1033.
The vineyard covers 32 hectares under the Côtes de Provence AOP, in the heart of an unspoiled natural environment.
Certified Organic Farming since 2012, the estate cultivates its vines on clay-limestone soils at an altitude of nearly 300 meters, giving the wines their natural freshness, aromatic purity, and fine mineral structure.
Production focuses on fruity and elegant rosés, precise whites, and characterful reds.
Each cuvée reflects meticulous craftsmanship: hand harvesting, parcel-based vinification, and careful ageing.
Run by two brothers, Nicolas Bretton and Martin Serre, Château Mentone combines tradition and innovation to craft authentic, sustainable, and distinctive wines.
