Le Tap (château)
Information
- Description
- Located on a former limestone quarry, Château Le Tap is a 12-hectare family estate in Périgord. With our 11 different grape varieties, we produce a range of 10 wines, from sparkling to dry white, semi-dry, rosé, and red, as well as sweet, orange, and natural wines.
With expertise passed down through five generations of winemakers, we work as a family with my wife and sons. One of them, Maxime, who is settling in this year after various viticultural and winemaking experiences abroad (Napa Valley, Barossa Valley, Douro, Tokaj...), already represents the sixth generation.
On the plateau and hillsides of Saussignac, our vines surround the farmhouse and benefit from a clay-limestone terroir that gives our wines their identity.
