LAURAIRE DES LYS

LAURAIRE DES LYS

Information

Description
Founded in 2001, Lauraire des Lys is a 20-hectare family-owned organic estate nestled in the foothills of the Montagne Noire, in the Minervois.
Our vineyards lie among canyons on higher, cooler limestone soils—an environment where black truffles grow, wild herbs perfume the air, and nature sets the rhythm. This unique terroir gives birth to wines of character, generous in aromas, textured, and naturally expressive.
Sheltered between the Montagne Noire, the Espinouse and the Cévennes, the estate benefits from a rare climate: never extreme, never fully Mediterranean. Cool winds from the Pic de Nore, maritime clouds bringing gentle rainfall, and abundant sunshine create balance, freshness and precision in our wines.

Lauraire des Lys is not the result of tradition passed down through generations, but of a family adventure. We discovered this land, believed in its potential, and patiently rebuilt an old estate—vine by vine, cuvée by cuvée. With limited experience but strong convictions, we committed ourselves to organic farming, hand harvesting, careful sorting and full respect for the environment.
Today, our wines reflect this journey: authentic, sincere and deeply connected to their place of origin.
