SAINT FIRMIN
Information
- Description
- Nestled in the heart of Uzès, Domaine Saint-Firmin embodies a family history passed down since 1925. Today, this expertise is proudly carried by the third and fourth generations: Robert, Didier, and Guillaume.
Certified in Organic Agriculture since 2022, this estate, which falls under the AOP Duché d'Uzès appellation, places respect for the terroir at the core of its craft. The appellation, still very young, remains largely unknown to consumers both in France and abroad. It is often overshadowed by its prestigious neighbors, such as Châteauneuf-du-Pape or the vast Côtes du Rhône, located just to the east.
However, the Duché d'Uzès benefits from an exceptional climatic balance between an intense Mediterranean climate which produces ripe and fruity wines and on the other hand the proximity of the Cévennes mountains, with its cool nights, promoting aromatic freshness.
These unique conditions give rise to wines that stand out: they possess the power of the great Southern Rhône crus while maintaining an elegance, drinkability, and vibrant freshness on the palate.
