Domaine Schoenheitz
Information
- Description
- At the gateway to the Munster Valley, the slopes of Wihr-au-Val rise to an altitude of 460 metres. The granite soils and extreme vine-growing conditions in these foothills of the Vosges allow the pure, subtle expression of Alsatian grape varieties.
Since the 1950s, these steep slopes have been cultivated with the greatest respect for the terroir, the landscape and biodiversity, with the aim of bringing out the best in the localities : Linsenberg, Herrenreben et Holder.
Today, Jérôme Mendelin and Jean-Philippe Manchès are passionate about their 17-hectare vineyard, which was awarded Organic Farming certification in 2023.
