Château de La Perrière
Information
- Description
- As the grandson and son of winemakers, I worked for nearly twenty years as a consultant in the wine industry.
In 2020, I had the opportunity to take over the Château de La Perrière estate, at the foot of Mont Brouilly, in Saint Lager, my native village, in the heart of Beaujolais.
When I took over the Château de La Perrière estate, it comprised approximately twelve hectares of vines in the Brouilly appellation and ten hectares of meadows. The acquisition of two additional hectares of vines in the Côte de Brouilly appellation now allows the estate to offer a range of single-vineyard wines produced in the heart of these unique terroirs of Mont Brouilly.
Organic farming and biodynamic principles are a natural choice for me and have been implemented gradually since I took over the estate. I strive to practice a truly living agriculture that places Nature at its core. In short, we are merely witnesses to this incredible experience that is Life… So, let's give ourselves the chance to welcome all the surprises it has in store for us!
