- In 2018, Hélène and Rémi Taillefer took over the estate and brought Terre des 2 Sources to life. Nestled at the foot of the Cévennes, just 45 minutes from Montpellier, the vineyard stretches across 40 hectares in a preserved natural setting. The cool plateaus, the diversity of soils and grape varieties, along with meticulous work in both the vineyard and the cellar, allow us to craft balanced and elegant wines.
The estate stands on the foundations of an ancient Gallo-Roman villa, a testament to the region’s long winemaking history. Several natural springs run through the heart of the vineyard, including two main ones that give our estate its name. They nourish exceptional soils and contribute to the unique character of our wines.
Terre des 2 Sources is above all a life project: a bold career change driven by passion and shared as a family. Everybody contributes in their own way, with sincerity and a warm spirit, to create wines that tell our story and reflect our terroir.
