Information
- Description
- MAS des CABRES is a winery located in languedoc and created from the family property where 8 generations of wine growers have been following one another. The BOUTIN family has been present in Aspères since 1760. The estate is situated between Nimes and Montpellier, near the foothills of the Cevennes mountains. "MAS des CABRES" comes from the name of the locality where the vineyard is situated: goats used to be breeded in this area in the 18th century.
This country of scrublands is composed of red flint clays and Oligocène limestone soils and cree . Different expositions of the vines are used to enhance this real mosaic of terroirs.
Our philosophy
MAS des CABRES is engaged in organic farming. Respecting the rhythm of vines and wines, preserving ecosystems; this is our philosophy. Our wines are allowed to express their natural potential thanks to minimum operations at every step.
