Champagne LELARGE-PUGEOT
Information
- Description
- The Lelarge-Pugeot family, winemakers in Vrigny since 1799, cultivates 8.7 hectares of Meunier, Pinot Noir, and Chardonnay in the Montagne de Reims. The estate, certified organic since 2013 and biodynamic (Demeter) since 2017, is committed to respecting the soil and the vines through natural practices such as biodynamic preparations, essential oils, composts, and horse plowing. Hand harvesting and gentle pressing ensure the quality of the grapes. Fermentations occur with indigenous yeasts, with little to no added sulfur, and the wines are minimally handled, aged on lees, then disgorged as extra-brut or nature, resulting in lively cuvées full of fruit, minerality, and energy.
