Mas des Brousses
Information
- Description
- In the heart of the Terrasses du Larzac, between garrigue and olive trees, a preserved biodiversity and wines that express their terroirs (limestone, of course)!
Géraldine and Xavier are the first generation of winegrowers in the AOC Terrasses du Larzac , but there's a whole history behind them : Xavier, grandson of Lulu and Lucien from Domaine TEMPIER, and Géraldine, a local girl, created Mas des Brousses in 1997 and got involved in the adventure of reviving Languedoc wines and the future AOC Terrasses du Larzac.
Mourvèdre is the king grape variety at Mas des Brousses, present in the historic cuvées: Mas des Brousses, Mataro and Chasseur des Brousses, but it is the landscapes and their terroirs that express themselves in their wines. Each vintage is different, the identity is always there, but there's nothing to stop you expressing other desires, the Cléo cuvée for example, but there will be others, ephemeral or not, nothing is set in stone on the 9 hectares and its 35,000 bottles.
