- Description
- Trapadis has been a family run estate since 1850. The name "Trapadis" comes from the word "trou" in Provençal language, that means hole.This hole corresponds to a former underground gallery. The winemaker Helen Durand represents the fourth generation. After taking in charge the domaine in 1996, at 16 years old, Helen has run the vineyard with a philosphy that respects the vine and terroir.
The Domaine consists of 35 hectares spraid on the communes of Rasteau (25h) Cairanne (4h) and Roaix (6h).
The vineyard is farmed without pesticidesor or chemical fertilizers.
The vineyard is certified ORGANIC since 2010 by Ecocert.
Our production is mostly red wines, and we also produced white wines and Vin Doux Naturel.
Our wines are denses, well balanced and elegants.
