Chateau de Parnay

Description: The historic Domaine of Antoine Cristal, founded in 1887 and home to the famous Clos d’entre les Murs, is located within the Saumur Champigny appellation area. The Château de Parnay vineyard spans 35 hectares and offers breathtaking views of the Loire hillsides.
Its four parcels, located on clay-limestone soils marked by the presence of tuffeau, are cultivated using Organic Farming methods, with the utmost respect for the vines and their environment. In the cellar, a team of passionate individuals strives to express the best of this exceptional terroir to produce the remarkable wines of Château de Parnay.

Inspired by the unique environment of the troglodyte dwellings and caves carved into the tuffeau, our Winemaker focuses, during winemaking, on revealing the exceptional terroirs that make up our vineyard in our cuvées. From vine cultivation to tasting, our primary concern is the singular expression of our terroirs.
