Domaine Terre de Feu
Information
- Description
- Domaine Terre de Feu is an organic winery with seven hectares of old vines spread over the appellations Languedoc Montpeyroux and Terrasses du Larzac.
Harvested by hand, our wines benefit from an exceptional terroir, the variety of a vineyard with widely strewn plots, and the open-minded approach of a vintner from overseas who combines the best of traditional practice with innovative or rediscovered methods.
The name of our winery - literally: ‘Earth of Fire” but also ‘Fireland’, as in Tierra del Fuego - is a word-play on the double meaning of Terre de Feu, evoking both the heat of the soil baking under the fierce Mediterranean sun and the Argentine origins of its winemaker.
Gonzalo Amigo takes care of all the work in the cellar and vines himself, helped by his German wife Kathrin for admin, marketing and sales.
