La Sable (Château)
Information
- Description
- Chateau La Sable is a small historic estate in Luberon, one of the first independent estates which contributed to making Luberon an AOP in 1988. Virginie and Jean-Marc Mercier took over the estate in 2017. Virginie manages the company and is the winemaker. Chateau La Sable has been certified organic since the 2022 vintage. The estate produces white, red, and rosé wines on a cool terroir on the foothills of the Luberon Regional Nature Park, producing just over 40,000 bottles.
