- At Château la Lieue, in the heart of Provence, the terroir is a family link, with five generations of winegrowers handing down this unique land. Between Aix en Provence and Saint Tropez, our vineyards cover 70 hectares. Organic farming has been king for over 27 years. Jean-Louis Vial was a pioneer, because he knew as early as 1997 that the future would lie in organic farming and respect for nature and the environment. He wanted to preserve the land he inherited from his father as much as possible so that he could pass it on to his son.
This humble respect for nature ensures that the grapes are of the highest quality and are vinified with the greatest care.
The fifth generation of the Vial family, Julien maintains this passionate relationship with nature and the terroir. This passion drives all our wines: red, rosé and white.
