- Description
- Château des Annibals, managed by Nathalie and Henri DE WULF COQUELLE, is a historic estate located in the heart of Provence Verte, in the Var region of southern France. The estate spans 45 hectares and features a 12th-century cellar, reflecting its deep-rooted heritage.
Our vineyards are small and diverse, planted on stony clay-limestone soils and surrounded by woods, garrigue, and streams. The Mediterranean climate brings hot, dry summers, tempered by cooler nights due to altitude, and winters that can be harsh.
From 13 grape varieties with carefully controlled yields, we craft wines that express the aromatic identity of our terroir and the spirit of Provence. We have been producing certified organic wines since 2001, in all three colors and various formats, under AOP Coteaux Varois en Provence and IGP Var.
Beyond organic certification, our commitment to sustainability includes a 20-year contract for 100% renewable electricity across all our operations.
Vineyard work, vinification, and bottling are carried out entirely by us, following our own quality charter.
Our philosophy is to build long-term partnerships based on trust, transparency, and respect for nature.
