L' Estabel

Description: Date of creation: 1937 (first vinification in 1938).
Around 20 winegrowers work with the Cave Coopérative of Estabel, making their living from the 350 hectares of vines. Most of the winegrowers working today are descendants of the cellar's founding winegrowers.
The winegrowers of Cabrières are women and men who love their land, their profession and their products. Heirs to a land of great beauty, renowned for centuries for the distinctive character of its wines, the winegrowers of Estabel are committed to bringing you this unique winegrowing paradise in the Languedoc.
Our vines benefit from a warm, dry, Mediterranean climate. The thermal variation here is warmer than that of its neighbours in Pézenas and the Terrasses du Larzac.
In the interests of quality, the choice of grape varieties is based on the wild nature of the area and the quality of the soil. The historic and predominant grape variety is Cinsault, closely followed by Syrah and Grenache.
Our AOP Languedoc Cabrières and AOP Clairette du Languedoc wines have an unrivalled range of aromas. Warm, typical, complex but also accessible, like the landscapes that surround them.
The production of organic wines, which began in 2010, is a method of cultivation that is growing rapidly and now accounts for over 30% of volumes, with a desire to develop further.
