Montfrin (château de)
Information
- Description
- The Mill Of Shadows and the Cave des Captives bring together 100 hectares of olive trees and 100 hectares of vines on a ground of imposing rolled pebbles, which made up the ancient bed of the Rhône.
Located on the easternmost coasts and the southernmost coasts of the Rhône, Château de Montfrin is one of the rare ones to produce five appellations with origin: Côtes du Rhône Villages, Côtes du Rhône, Costières de Nîmes, Pays d'Oc & Coteaux from the Pont du Gard.
The olive grove is distinguished by a choice of varieties of trees of Tuscan, Catalan and Provençal origin, with very aromatic fruits, making it possible to offer unique oils.
