- Description
- Founded in 1995, Maison Calmel & Joseph is above all a human story of encounters and passions. After traveling the world, we settled at the end of the Chemin de la Madone, a stone's throw from the Cité de Carcassonne in the most continental part of the Corbières appellation. Because this is where our roots lie: in Languedoc-Roussillon.
A wine-growing paradise, a region of endless possibilities, from the vine to the bottle, we create all of our wines. We have patiently developed strong relationships with our winemaker friends in almost all of the appellations.
Convinced of the unique potential of these terroirs, the adventure is a daily one: we vinify, blend and age with a fierce determination to prove the exceptional identity of this Mediterranean region.
It is this uniqueness that our ambassador partners convey to wine lovers. Seeing our bottles on tables, being at the heart of convivial moments: this is our greatest satisfaction.
