Bodegas Domeco de Jarauta
Information
- Description
- The Domeco de Jarauta family has been crafting artisanal wines for over a century and across generations, pioneering the production of quality wines in Rioja Oriental and earning recognition since the Universal Exposition of Barcelona in 1888.
Unlike most Rioja wineries, we are proud to rely exclusively on the family’s vineyards — a 100 hectare Estate with an average vine age of 35 years, which we meticulously preserve and care for until harvest. This dedication imparts a unique character and exceptional quality to our wines, a reflection of the distinctive lands where our vineyards are located, all of which belong to the D.O.Ca. Rioja.
We oversee the entire process, from grape to bottle, with the aim of producing traditional, high-quality Rioja wines while maintaining a strong commitment to sustainability and traditional winemaking practices. This dedication ensures consistency and excellence regardless of vintage variations.
