Tasting notes, medals and awards
- Tasting notes
- Rich and concentrated, yet very graceful, this is an amazing expression of this appellation. It feels as refreshing as a sea breeze on a hot day, and that in the warmest year every recorded in Burgundy! Creamy and seamless, the salty minerality creates an electric tension that drives the extremely long, nervous finish. From vines planted between 1943 and 2009 on stony limestone soil with black clay. From organically grown grapes. Fermented and matured in oak casks for a year, then a further eight months in stainless steel. Drink or hold.
