Tasting notes, medals and awards
- Tasting notes
- Intense ruby-red, tending towards garnet. Hints of red fruits stand out, including sour cherries and cherries in spirits, which blend with notes of vanilla, caramel, licorice, leather, and cocoa. We also encounter aromas of brushwood and cedar wood. Assertive upon entry, it reveals fullness, salinity, body, persistence, with a lively tannin. In the aftersmell, notes of dried fruits such as fig, apricot, and hazelnut appear, along with spiced hints of green pepper and chocolate. At the end, this Amarone surprises us with its pronounced acidity that balances the wine’s great complexity.
