Couleur rubis intense. Le nez est intense et riche avec des notes épicées de cannelle, badiane et safran; en suite avec des fruits noirs comme la mûre ou le casis en surmaturité. La bouche est ample et élégante, les tannins sont bien présents et assurent une belle structure. Les notes de fruits noirs compotés sont persistantes et accompagnées par des arômes torréfiés d'amande et de café, qui démontrent une matière prête à évoluer dans le temps.
