Each exhibitor has the exact same exhibition tools: a counter, two chairs, a spittoon, tasting glasses, ice and a display. It is a question of judging and comparing wines, and not exhibition techniques! All exhibitors are on an equal footing here to present their products.
The stands are not gathered by region or appellation but mixed. This characteristic of Millésime BIO is a deliberate choice of the organisers to encourage encounters and curiosity. This may seem confusing at first, but the signage system and fair staff are there to guide you through your tasting experience.
Most of the exhibitors are able to present news from the vintage of the year.
Prior to the fair, the organisers carry out a rigorous control of the compliance of the products exhibited with the legislation. They are all certified organic. Each exhibitor must provide copies of the certificates of conformity with the organic production method issued by an approved certification body.
Organic wine-based drinks, beers, ciders and spirits are also accepted for tasting. A specific area is organised within the fair for these organic alcoholic beverages, with 3 dedicated universes: Beer&Bio, Cider&Bio and Spirit&Bio.
During the fair, SudVinBio mandates Ecocert to control the compliance of the products presented with the organic regulation.
