Is this the first time you've been to the show? If not, since when?
2019 is the second edition of the show I am attending.
Why did you choose to come? What was your objective: to source wines? To better understand the market and the offer?
I came to find new estates, to meet the current partners and also to see what was on offer in the vineyards other than those I'm in charge of [effervescent, Sud-Ouest and Languedoc-Roussillon].
What do you think of the Millésime Bio fair?
Millésime Bio is a pleasant and accessible fair that allows each producer to present his wines.
What are the strong points? What do you appreciate most?
Each exhibitor has the same stand size (no oversized stands and excessive marketing) and the wines are presented on tables, this allows proximity and ease of exchange with the producers.
How do you rate Millésime Bio compared to other trade fairs you have already visited?
Compared to other trade fairs, this one is simpler and therefore more human, it really allows you to exchange with the winegrowers.
What did you think of the Enoteca and the Challenge Millésime Bio area?
I really liked the Enoteca and the Challenge Millésime Bio area. They gather all the wines together in one place and to taste in a calm setting without being disturbed by any comments.
What is the organic wine market currently on the supermarket network? What is the trend?
The organic wine market is developing in supermarkets even if it still represents less than 5% of the turnover, but the environmental stakes make customers more and more interested in it, it is therefore a sustainable trend, Auchan is committed to a responsible product offer, we offer our customers quality wines that meet the environmental expectations with organic wines, Biodynamic wines...
Do you plan to come back next year?
I will certainly be back next year.
