La robe est d’une couleur rouge pourpre profonde. Le nez est très expressif et complexe sur des arômes de fruits noirs, d’eucalyptus, de poivre, et de cacao. En bouche, ce vin présente une très belle sucrosité, des tanins fondus, et l’on retrouve de la mûre compotée et des notes d’épices.
